Our “Mini Wreck Explorer” program is a full Discover Scuba Diving experience designed for beginners, conducted from shore and ideal for a first scuba diving experience in Curacao. The wreck we visit lies in shallow depth, in calm and crystal-clear water, making it perfectly accessible for your very first time underwater.
Is the wreck introductory dive offered in English and as a private experience?
That is part of our philosophy: your introductory dive is 100% private and supervised by a dedicated instructor who speaks both French and English fluently. We stay away from mass tourism. You progress at your own pace, without the pressure of a group, for the same price as a group session in a large dive centre.
Do you need any special skills for the Mini Wreck Explorer dive?
You only need basic swimming ability and to feel reasonably comfortable in the water. Before approaching the wreck, your private guide takes all the time needed to help you try the equipment and breathe underwater in shallow water where you can stand. It is a progressive, fun, safe and completely relaxing experience.
What are the advantages of doing this introductory dive from the shore (shore dive) rather than by boat?
Shore diving is ideal for a stress-free introduction. You enter the water gently from the beach, without the potential seasickness of a boat and without any need to jump into open water. This allows for a gradual adjustment in a friendly, relaxed, family-like atmosphere from start to finish.
