Teksten en foto&#8217;s zijn vrij te gebruiken voor redactionele doeleinden, met bronvermelding \u00ab The Little Green Boat \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2>Over ons<\/h2>\n<div class=\"tlgb-about\"><div><p>The Little Green Boat is in de eerste plaats een duikcentrum op Cura\u00e7ao dat zich richt op priv\u00e9-expedities, aangevuld met priv\u00e9-boottochten. Het werd opgericht door Fabien en Caro, een koppel van PADI- en SSI-duikinstructeurs met elk meer dan 5.000 duiken. Fabien is ook professioneel schipper, al meerdere jaren in het bezit van een internationaal erkende kwalificatie, en vaart zijn hele leven al. Hun zeilboot, een Amel Euros 41 uit 1973, werd volledig gerenoveerd op de Canarische Eilanden voordat ze de Atlantische Oceaan overstaken.<\/p><p>Het bedrijf is geregistreerd in 2024 en actief sinds januari 2026. Onze duiken, gericht op onderwaterfotografie en citizen science, voeden iNaturalist; door de gemeenschap bevestigde waarnemingen worden gedeeld met GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility), de wereldwijde biodiversiteitsdatabase die wetenschappers gebruiken.
