About us

The Little Green Boat is first and foremost a dive center in Curaçao dedicated to private expeditions, complemented by private boat tours. It was founded by Fabien and Caro, a couple of PADI and SSI dive instructors with more than 5,000 dives each. Fabien is also a professional skipper, holding an internationally recognized qualification for several years, and has sailed all his life. Their sailboat, a 1973 Amel Euros 41, was fully renovated in the Canary Islands before crossing the Atlantic.

Registered in 2024, the company has been operating since January 2026. Our dives, focused on underwater photography and citizen science, feed iNaturalist; observations confirmed by the community are shared with GBIF (the Global Biodiversity Information Facility), the global biodiversity database used by scientists. On our boat tours, a hydrophone and a 3D sonar let guests listen to the reef and explore the seabed without getting wet.

We collaborate with Sea Turtle Conservation Curaçao and Reef Renewal Curaçao and are members of Green Fins.
