2. Data we collect
For your booking: first name, last name, email address, phone number, number of participants, selected date and time slot, pickup location if applicable, preferred language, amount paid, and payment status.
For your safety: diving medical questionnaire, age or date of birth when required for the activity, certification level, emergency contact details, and any allergies or medications you disclose to us.
For diving courses: the information required by the certification organisation (PADI or SSI) to register your certification.
Photos and videos: images taken during your trip, which are provided to you at the end of the session.
On this website: a limited number of cookies necessary for the website to function and for audience measurement. We do not sell or rent any data.
3. Where does this data come from?
Either you provide them to us directly, via a form, email, phone or WhatsApp, or they are transmitted to us by the platform through which you made your booking: Viator and Tripadvisor, GetYourGuide, Airbnb, or our Bókun booking system.
4. Why we use this data
- to organise and confirm your activity, and to contact you before or after your trip;
- to ensure your safety underwater and on board;
- to process payments and issue invoices;
- to comply with our legal, accounting and insurance obligations in Curaçao;
- to register your certification with the certification organisation, if applicable.ous suivez un cours.
5. Who we share your data with
- Bókun (Tripadvisor), our booking system;
- the booking platforms through which you made your reservation: Viator, GetYourGuide, Airbnb;
- our payment provider for card payments. We never see your full card number and we do not store it;
- PADI or SSI, solely to register a certification;
- our insurer, accountant, or the authorities in Curaçao, when required by law or in the event of an incident.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your data to anyone else.
6. How long we keep your data
Booking and accounting documents are kept for the period required by Curaçao law. Medical forms and liability waivers are kept for as long as necessary to handle any potential dispute or insurance claim. Your photos and videos are deleted from our devices shortly after being provided to you, unless you give us permission to use certain ones.
7. Photos and social media
We only publish images in which you are recognisable with your consent. If a published image makes you uncomfortable, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, and you may object to its use. Write to hello@thelittlegreenboat.eco and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If you booked through a platform, some of your data is also held by that platform, which has its own privacy policy.
9. Security and hosting
This website is hosted by o2switch (Clermont-Ferrand, France), and the domain name is managed by Infomaniak Network (Geneva, Switzerland). Access to our booking accounts is password-protected and restricted to people who need access.
10. Changes
This policy may change, for example if we change our booking system or payment provider. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
