Rescue Diver

See your diving — and your buddies — in a whole new light. The Rescue Diver course reshapes how you understand the ocean and the people you dive with. It builds awareness, calm and confidence, teaching you how to take care of yourself and your teammates at the surface and underwater. You’ll learn to prevent problems before they happen, respond with control when they do, and strengthen the teamwork that makes every dive safer and more rewarding.
At The Little Green Boat, most of our courses are run privately. However, the Rescue Diver course is even more effective when taken as a group.
Come with friends or family and turn the training into a shared experience. With more divers involved, the scenarios become more realistic, engaging, and varied.
You will learn to work as a team, build genuine confidence, and finish the course with solid skills — and a few great stories to take home.
What you’ll learn:
- Prevent, recognise and manage diving-related problems
- Self-rescue and stress management underwater
- Porter assistance à un plongeur fatigué, paniqué ou inconscient
- Assist a tired, panicked, or unconscious diver
- Emergency planning, search patterns, and group coordination
Course structure
- Knowledge development: online study and instructor-led discussions
- Skill practice: confined-water sessions to build mastery and confidence
- Rescue scenarios: realistic open-water exercises combining teamwork, laughter, and practical problem-solving
Minimum requirements
- Age: 12 years and up
- Certification: Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
- Health: fit to dive with no major medical restrictions
- Additional requirement: a current First Aid/CPR certification, which can be completed alongside the course
