What you'll explore

  • Spot and identify key reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, and groupers.
  • Keep an eye out for the reef’s “rebuilders,” such as lobsters, queen conch, and long-spined sea urchins.
  • Observer comment chaque espèce joue son rôle pour maintenir l’équilibre du récif
  • Share your observations during a relaxed post-dive debrief.
  • On a private sailing charter, enjoy extras like a hydrophone to listen to the ocean’s symphony, an Insta360 to capture what’s happening underwater, and the RealVision™ 3D Axiom Fish Finder to spot marine life and choose the best anchoring spot.

Citizen science

Citizen science here means noticing the reef’s “residents” and the role each plays in maintaining balance. From grazing parrotfish to colourful wrasses and algae-eating sea urchins, every observation adds to the bigger picture. At times, you might even pass through a tight school of small fish or spot a perfectly camouflaged scorpionfish among the rocks. You’ll also receive a personalised dive report with our observations and photos — and, if you join a private sailing charter, even hydrophone audio recordings from the expedition.

FAQ

Yes — we’ll show you how to spot some of the reef’s key “characters,” and you’ll start putting names to the faces you’ve been seeing for a long time.

The shore dive is simple and straightforward: gear up on the beach and walk straight into the water. The private sailing cruise spends a few relaxed hours at sea, hair in the wind, with more freedom to explore — plus extras like the hydrophone, Insta360, and the RealVision™ 3D Axiom Fish Finder, which bring the ocean to life in a whole new way.

Imagine the reef as a lively little neighbourhood. From parrotfish to angelfish, and even the sometimes nearly invisible scorpionfish, every dive is a chance to meet new characters. We’ll give you a detailed briefing beforehand, with photos and slates, so you know exactly who to look for once you’re underwater.

Around one hour underwater, depending on your air consumption and conditions. Calm and unhurried — with plenty of time to slow down and truly observe.
