General terms of use
1. Reservations and payments
To secure your excursion, we require a 40% deposit. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before departure. We accept payments in cash, bank transfer and card (depending on terminal availability and signal).
2. Cancellations and changes
Plans can change, and we understand that.
If you need to cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled activity, your deposit can either be refunded or moved to a new date, depending on your preference.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the activity are non refundable, unless we are able to reschedule you to another available date.
If you do not show up and we have not heard from you in advance, the deposit will unfortunately be forfeited.
In some cases, conditions are beyond our control. If we need to cancel due to weather or sea conditions, safety considerations, technical issues, or restrictions from the Curaçao Port Authority or Coast Guard, you will be able to reschedule your trip or receive a full refund, whichever suits you best.
3. Schedules and delays
If you are going to be late, just let us know….we can’t leave without you, it wouldn’t be fun! The itinerary may be adjusted to comply with safety and light conditions.
If you fail to show up and haven’t notified us, it will be considered a no-show.
4. Minimum number of participants
Sailing and snorkeling trips have no minimum number of participants.
Diving requires a minimum of two divers, except for courses where only one participant is needed.
5. Ages
Boat trips for children aged 12 months and upwards.
Snorkeling for children aged 6 and up.
Diving for children aged 10 and up.
Guests under 18 years of age must have the signature of a parent or guardian.
6. Swimming skills
Guests joining us for snorkeling or diving should be comfortable swimming independently in open water.
If you do not swim, you are still very welcome on board. You will simply stay dry.
If you feel a bit nervous in the water, please let us know in advance. We are used to this and will take extra care to help you feel comfortable and at ease.
7. Medical conditions and physical fitness
All guests joining us for snorkeling or diving are asked to complete a medical form before the activity.
All guests coming on board are asked to complete a standard liability form.
Depending on your age and your answers, we may need to request a medical certificate.
If you are not feeling well, for example due to sinus issues, a cold, congestion, or an injury, please let us know before the excursion. We will always help find the safest option for you.
8. Responsibilities of divers
Certified divers agree to follow the guidance of the instructor or dive guide, stay within the limits of their training, monitor their air supply, equalize regularly, and maintain proper buoyancy throughout the dive.
If something is wrong underwater, stop diving – safety first.
9. Environmental behavior
We operate with a strong commitment to the environment. To help keep the reef healthy, please avoid touching or standing on coral, feeding marine life, collecting shells or organisms, or leaving any litter behind.
We also ask all guests to respect the rules of the Curaçao Marine Park at all times.
10. Curaçao Regulations
All our excursions operate in line with the regulations of the Curaçao Marine Park, the Port Authority, and the Coast Guard.
Routes and schedules may occasionally change to ensure safety or to respect protected areas.
11. Food and drinks
We provide water, soft drinks, fruit, and a light snack.
You are welcome to bring your own drinks or snacks—a refrigerator is available on board.
Alcohol is prohibited before or between dives….but definitely not after!
12. Seasickness
If you suffer from seasickness, it is advisable to take medication before departure, as we cannot provide tablets on board.
We have special anti-nausea glasses, a bit ridiculous but surprisingly effective.
13. Equipment - Care and Responsibility
Guests may be held responsible for any loss or damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence.
Normal wear and tear is our responsibility.
14. Personal effects
Phones, cameras, sunglasses and other valuables remain your responsibility.
The ocean sometimes adopts certain things.
15. Refusal of service
We may refuse diving or snorkeling to someone if they are ill, in danger, intoxicated, or do not comply with safety instructions.
16. Risks and liability
Activities at sea naturally involve risks.
All guests must sign the appropriate liability waiver before departure (diving, snorkeling, or boating).
This does not exempt us from liability in the event of gross negligence.
17. Emergency contact
Before leaving, we collect an emergency contact and relevant medical information (allergies, asthma, diabetes, medications).
18. Photos and videos
We can take photos during the excursion.
We will only use images of guests with their permission.

Guest information is stored securely and used only for booking, security and operational needs.
