The Dive Guide course is where your journey becomes something bigger. You’ll learn to plan, organise and supervise dives, guiding others with confidence and respect for the ocean. It’s about awareness, communication, and responsibility, the foundation of every great leader underwater.
At The Little Green Boat, training is personal and hands-on. You’ll refine your skills, develop your own leadership style and gain real guiding experience during our conservation-focused dives. Whether you’re aiming for the pro level or simply want to dive with more confidence and purpose, it all comes together here.
What you’ll learn:
- Dive leadership and group management
- Advanced planning, safety and environmental awareness
- Briefings, navigation and in-water supervision
- Communication, problem-solving and confident decision-making
Course structure
- Knowledge: online learning and one-to-one mentoring
- Workshops: leadership and scenario-based training
- Training dives: guiding real divers in open water
Minimum requirements
- Age: 18 or older
- Certification: Rescue Diver or equivalent
- Logged dives: 40 to start, 60 to certify
- Fitness: medically fit to dive with current First Aid and CPR certifications
